Alain came to us after being made redundant from Emirates Group. He knew that there were going to be thousands of people in the same boat as him so he immediately took our Basic Job Search Package
After finishing the basic package although Alain had a great CV which he was able to update according to which position he was applying to and he was able to stand out, he was still getting caught up with the mass of other people applying to the same jobs as him. We spoke to him about taking the Expert Job Search package and he didn’t regret it. In less than 1 week after he had his coaching session with Hayley he had multiple offers from multiple companies, he’s more confident than ever in himself, where he’s going in his career and how he’s going to get there. Initial Feedback
We asked Alain what he thought about the Expert and Basic courses and this is what he came back with before the 1-2-1 coaching session
1. What did you like most about the course?
“The informative value of this just amazing. I really appreciated the way all this information was put through – the coherence of it all.
I did like the way it “challenges” what you think you already know. I found the course to be immersive, pushing me to ask myself the proper questions.
The expert insight – yes google is also full of information but having guidance from an expert recruiter is way more resourceful.”
2. Would you recommend this course to your friends?
“I would (and I already have).”
3. Did you find the course useful?
“This course was very insightful in so many ways – I am glad to have understood the process that goes in recruitment from a recruiters standpoint. This course provided me with the ingredients I was missing on my document in all my previous (unsuccessful) attempts.
I have been the last few weeks reading a gargantuan amount of blogs and articles – which have been useful to some extent, but this course has brought me a different insight to CV content. It never occurred to me that simple choices (in the likes of job titles; buzzwords; and whatnot) could actually be bringing me down in the actual job search war. This course has offered me an interesting outtake that I am very excited to try out !”
4. What could be done better in your eyes?
“I personally loved the way the course is presented. The website is easy to glide through, back and forth.
Expert- Nothing, in my opinion 🙂 The content is well presented, and the flow of information is easy to follow.”
5. Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience?
“Nothing more than what I already said – Hayley has such a motivating persona and that reflects highly in her courses.
I believe I have already answered to the core of that question in my previous answers 😀
But, applying the knowledge I now have, I hope things will turn out better for me 🙂”
Update 1 week later....
A week after the 1-2-1 career coaching session Hayley woke up to this message from Alain.
“Just dropping a little update message 🙂
I already secured a job and I still have people reaching out to me with offers. So things are looking brighter 😁 It’s all happening because of your help – since they don’t use ATS back home my (our) CV is making an impression haha. I cannot thank you enough for that!
