Before we get started with this course there’s a few things you’ll need:
1. A LinkedIn profile.
2. Review your privacy settings to your liking – we suggest, if you have a premium profile that you change your message settings so that individuals can contact you for free, rather than having to buy a LinkedIn “Inmail”. 

What does having a personal brand mean? Having a personal brand means to actively market a person and their career as a brand itself. It’s an ongoing process of development, maintaining a reputation and impression. In order to market yourself on LinkedIn it’s important that you have an idea how you and your profile are perceived.

Your materials, online presence and conduct all culminate to build a picture of who you are and your personal brand. We want you to be more conscious of the message you are sending throughout your materials and conduct. Having your own brand won’t only make you more marketable for recruiters it will also make you an asset to an organisation if you understand your USPs (unique selling points).
